Oregon State Police said it happened at 10:24 p.m. Sunday near Milepost 281 south of Wilsonville.

The victim, a 43-year-old man from Cornelius, said he was driving his 1990 Honda Civic with his family inside northbound on the highway when a car with two young adult Hispanic men pulled up alongside him.

The suspects shot at the car and then sped away. The only description of the suspect vehicle is it had four doors and was dark in color.

Three bullet holes were found in the left side of the car. Two were in the driver's door and one was in the rear door.
