A gas leak forced the evacuation of a Home Depot store in Happy Valley Friday.
A Northwest Natural Gas spokeswoman said a forklift hit a heater and tore a gas line in the ceiling just before 12:15 p.m.
The store, located at 9300 SE 82nd Ave., was evacuated and firefighters were called to the scene.
A contractor quickly repaired the line and the store was open again a short time later.
