TURNER, OR (KPTV) -

The family of an 18-year-old killed in a crash just two days after graduating high school is hosting a memorial service Saturday.

The public service for Lindsey Magnusson will be at Cascade High School in the main gym located inside the new building, 10226 Marion Rd. Southeast, Turner.

The service will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will be followed by a graveside service at 1 p.m. at Aumsville Cemetery.

Magnusson's 1989 Honda Accord was hit by a pickup as she drove out of the Cascade High School parking lot in Turner June 7. She had just dropped off her younger brother at the school.

She was critically injured, taken to Salem Hospital and eventually to Oregon Health & Science University where she died about a week later.

The driver of the truck, Audrey Briggs, 31, was also taken to the hospital. Her injuries were not life-threatening, according to deputies. Two children in her truck were not hurt.
