ALOHA, OR (KPTV) -

A SWAT standoff at an Aloha home came to an end when a woman who had been drinking surrendered, deputies said Wednesday.

Washington County deputies called in their SWAT team around 7 p.m. after responding to a shot fired at a home near Southwest 160th Avenue and Blanton Street near TV Highway.

They set up command posts in the parking lot of an apartment complex and blocked off traffic.

When deputies first arrived, they heard a gunshot and the bullet went through a home. Other homes in the neighborhood were immediately evacuated as the SWAT team focused in on the house in question.

Deputies said the suspect, Alisha Mannis, initially didn't respond to calls for her to come out, but they said they finally talked Mannis into coming out.

Mannis now faces charges of unlawful use of a weapon and recklessly endangering another person.

Investigators believe Mannis' alcohol use was a factor in the incident. She'll appear in court Thursday.
