PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland police say 24-year-old Daniel Cristurean and 24-year-old Jonathan Weatherall each turned themselves in Thursday evening in connection with an arson caught on camera.

They will each be arraigned Friday on charges of Reckless burning, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief.

A fire was set in a garbage container at Mill Park School, 1900 S.E. 117th Ave., on March 6. Surveillance cameras captured two male suspects starting the fire.

Initial witnesses called 911 to report the school was on fire. Fortunately, fire crews arrived and prevented it from spreading to the building.

However, firefighters said dumpster fires are extremely dangerous because they can easily ignite neighboring buildings.
