Hooded gunman robs Beaverton Dotty's deli

BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -

A masked man robbed a Dotty's deli at gunpoint in Beaverton early Tuesday morning, police said.

It happened around 2 a.m. at 2654 SW Cedar Hills Blvd.

Investigators have released surveillance video of the crime.

According to police, an employee told them he was outside smoking a cigarette when the suspect came up to him, put a gun in his back and led him back into the business.

The robber took off after getting some money, police said.

Officers searched the area with a police dog, but did not find the man.

The suspect is described as a darker-skinned man who spoke with an Hispanic accent, police said.

He is approximately 5'8" tall, has a thin build and was wearing a black hoodie style sweatshirt pulled up over his head, dark pants and a dark bandana, which was pulled up over his face.

The gun is described as all black and smaller in size, detectives said.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Beaverton police at 503-629-0111.
