GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -

Two teenagers being held in connection with a murder at a Gresham park made their first court appearance Monday.

Officers responded to Red Sunset Park at about 9:45 p.m. Friday after getting reports of gunfire or possibly fireworks.

They found one man dead at the park and said another man showed up at Mt. Hood Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the leg.

On Sunday, police arrested 15-year-old Reynaldo Antonio Ceja at his girlfriend's home in Estacada. They also arrested 17-year-old Brian Hernandez Cardon in Beaverton on Friday night.

The two teens face several charges, including murder, attempted aggravated murder and assault.

They're being held at the juvenile detention center.

The East County Major Crimes Team reported the incident may be a gang-related shooting.

They identified the victim who died as Paulino "Paul" Venancio-Lopez, 33, from Gresham.

The injured victim is identified as Omar Merino-Lopez, 22, and police said he has ties to east Multnomah County.

Police said they weren't sure of the connection, if any, between the two victims.

Investigators have not released details about what led up to the shooting.
