After stopping for a stop sign, he drove across Highway 211 and was struck in the driver's side by a pickup traveling westbound.

After impact, the car spun into the eastbound lane where it slammed into another pickup.

Deborah Gitts died at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center on June 3.

Both victims were wearing seat belts, OSP said.
