A 24-year-old Gresham man will be arraigned this afternoon on robbery charges for allegedly targeting three local businesses.

Police arrested Cory Robert Reed early Monday morning in connection with the recent armed robberies of Orient Espresso, Sidekicks Delicatessen and a Starbucks on NE Burnside.

The three robberies took place between July 13 and July 17. In all three, cashiers reported being threatened with a gun. The robber fled the scene each time before officers arrived.

Gresham police arrested Reed at his father's home in the 3300 block of SE First Street without incident early Monday. Reed's father, Robert Marion Reed, 52, was also arrested on an unrelated warrant.

Police say Reed's alleged robbery spree netted him less than $500.

Anyone with additional information about the robbery spree, or with any other incidents involving Reed, is encouraged to call the Gresham police top line at (503) 618-2719.
