A woman is expected to survive after a rollover crash on Marine Drive on Wednesday morning.
Portland police said a driver heading east in the 15800 block of Marine Drive crossed over the center line and sideswiped the woman's westbound car, which swerved right and rolled down the embankment toward the Columbia River.
The car landed on a bike path and did not plummet into the water.
Paramedics rushed the woman to a Portland hospital to be treated. Police described her injuries as non-life-threatening.
The other driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Alcohol and distracted driving did not appear to be factors in the wreck, police said.
