PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A power outage in southeast Portland knocked out power to 7,400 PGE customers Friday morning.

The outages were concentrated in the Woodstock, Lents, Montavilla and Mill Park neighborhoods.

Portland General Electric reports a squirrel caused the outage.

They expect the power to be back on around 9:30 a.m.

The outage affected Portland Community College's Southeast Center and events starting before noon at that campus have been canceled.
