A 58-year-old woman died early Friday morning in a single-car crash on Highway 47 about six miles north of Yamhill.
At 12:48 a.m., the victim's Nissan Altima was headed southbound near milepost 41, Oregon State Police (OSP) said.
For an unknown reason, the car traveled off the highway and hit a power pole.
The woman was the only person in the car.
She died at the scene.
Troopers are continuing to investigate the crash.
The highway was closed at the crash scene for more than two hours.
