Three men armed with guns raided a southeast Portland apartment, ordered children into a bathroom and ransacked the home in search of cash Thursday morning.
Portland police first received word of the robbery at the Highlander Apartments on Southeast 122nd Avenue at 11:05 a.m.
The victims told officers that the three men entered the apartment through an unlocked sliding glass door at the back of the apartment. Once inside, they directed two women and two small children to go in the bathroom, and then they ordered two men to lie on the floor while they searched the apartment.
Once they found an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspects left the apartment and were last seen driving away in a car southbound on 122nd Avenue.
Police said the suspects were one black man and two white men. A fourth suspect, of unknown race and gender, stayed behind the wheel of the getaway car, which is described as a dark green four-door.
No one was injured during the robbery and no shots were fired.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the police bureau at 503-823-0405.
