An Oregon City man faces menacing, pointing a firearm at another and disorderly conduct charges after police say he was upset over loud music coming from a bar.

Oregon City police say 80-year-old Baylis Youngblood was angry at what he thought was to be loud music coming from an outdoor event at the Ice House Bar located on Main Street.

Police say around 8 p.m. on July 27 Youngblood armed with his cane, his 16 gage double barrel shotgun and four shotgun shells, walked the two blocks from his home and confronted bar patrons.

After demanding the music be turned off, Youngblood reportedly pointed his firearm at a bar patron.

Many people witnessed this including a bartender, customers and a couple who had just pulled up in their car.

Oregon City police officers found Youngblood near his home, still with his shotgun.

He was lodged without incident at the Clackamas County Jail. He was releated from jail over the weekend, and asked to appear for his arraignment Aug. 27.
