The raid of a southeast Portland home turned up a large quantity of prescription drugs, including oxycontin and methadone.

Investigators served a warrant at the home on 68th Avenue between Ogden and Cooper streets in Portland on Wednesday. Police said Guy Miller, 56, was in his room at the time of the search, according to court documents.

Officers seized the controlled substances from a safe in Miller's room. Along with oxycontin and methadone, police said they found diazepam, clonazepam, alprazolam, buprenorphine and carisoprodol.

Investigators said the labels on the prescription bottles had been "obliterated." Evidence of unlawful delivery of the drugs was also recovered, according to court documents, including $600, 3 million Iraqi dinars and several ounces of silver.

Miller told police everything in the safe belonged to him, except for the Iraqi currency.

He was arrested and then arraigned Thursday on a long list of charges related to the possession and delivery of the prescription drugs.

His next court date is set for Aug. 9.
