COTTAGE GROVE, OR (KPTV) -

Two California women were arrested after a traffic stop near Cottage Grove, when troopers said they found five ounces of methamphetamine.

An Oregon State Police trooper stopped a Chevrolet SUV heading north on Interstate 5 at 10 a.m. Wednesday, for speeding.

An investigation following the traffic stop included a drug-detecting K9, led to the discovery of crystal methamphetamine concealed in the vehicle, along with other evidence.

The driver Judith Korbler, 41, and passenger Sandra Fulton, 47, both of Ontario, CA, were booked in the Lane County Jail, on charges of unlawful possession and distribution of meth.
