A no complaint order was issued in the case of a Portland barbershop owner who was taken into custody on marijuana charges.

Police arrested Aaron Peterson, 54, Thursday.

Before the arrest, officers served search warrants at his home in the 5700 block of Northeast 12th Avenue and his barbershop, Sh' Aaron's Looks, located at 5800 NE Martin Luther King Junior Blvd.

Detectives seized approximately two ounces of marijuana, packing equipment and scales as part of the investigation, police said.

The city of Portland's Bureau of Development Services then conducted an inspection of the business and noted several building violation codes, FOX 12 learned.

Peterson was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of delivery and possession of marijuana.

On Friday, prosecutors said they weren't ready to move forward with charges against Peterson. They can still re-file criminal charges at a later date.
