COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Police are looking for a man who allegedly forced a woman at gunpoint to perform a sexual act on him over the weekend. Police say that woman escaped from the man's car by telling him she was going to be physically ill.

The victim told Columbia Police Officers the man asked her several times to get in his car as she walked along the 5900 block of Main Street shortly after 5:00 a.m. on August 17.

After repeatedly telling him no, she agreed to get in the car. The man then drove to the 4800 block of Muir Street.

The suspect then allegedly held a gun to her head and forced her to perform sexual acts on him.

The victim later managed to get out of the car after telling the suspect that she was about to get physically sick.

When the suspect pulled the car over to the side of the road, the victim escaped and hid until seeing the man drive away, police say.

The victim called 9-1-1. Police and EMS went to the scene.

The victim describes the suspect as being a thin, black male possibly between the 40 and 50-years-old with an extremely dark complexion, an oval-shaped face, and a bald head with ears that ‘stick out.'

She adds that he appears to have some kind of scarring on his cheeks, possibly from acne. She also said several of his top teeth had gold crowns.

He was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt with a yellow ‘crest-like shield' emblem or symbol with light colored blue jeans and possibly boots.

EMS transported the victim to a local hospital for medical attention.

The suspect's car is described as a newer model red sedan.

Police say the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
