PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A credit card fraud ring continues to grow in the Sandy area, where more than 100 fraud cases have been reported to the Sandy Police Department in a four-week span.

People who live in or around the Sandy area have reported a total loss of more than $52,000.

Initially, the victims cited fraudulent charges in southern California, Florida and North Carolina, but in recent weeks, there have been cash advances on credit cards made in Washington and the Portland metro area.

As of Wednesday, Sandy police detectives don't know where the credit cards are being compromised, but they're working with local businesses to determine where the data corruption occurred. Earlier this month, they expressed concerns about a Dairy Queen in town and a Fred Meyer gas station, where a the source may have been a virus in a computer system.

Detectives released still photos Wednesday of suspects who are using the fraudulent credit cards. Anyone with information on the identities of the people who are pictured is asked to call the Sandy Police Department.
