VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

A man with a stolen debit card is caught on camera trying to use it at a bank's ATM.

On July 31, someone broke into the victim's downtown Vancouver home while her family was sleeping. The thief grabbed her purse and keys, and took off.

Then, surveillance cameras at Sterling Bank captured a man trying to use her stolen card.

The only description of the suspect is a black man in his 40s.

The victim, who did not want to be identified, told Fox 12 she hopes someone recognizes him and calls police.

"I definitely feel invaded," she said. "I think it was more disturbing because we have a 1-year-old baby and not knowing what would have happened if he'd gone into my son's room."

Vancouver police posted the photo on the department's "Can You ID Me?" website. If you know anything about this case, contact Officer Colton Price at colton.price@cityofvancouver.us.
