A home invasion robbery sends the homeowner to the hospital and police trying to track down the suspects involved.

The Linn County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on the 47000 block of Lyons Mill City Drive in Mill City on Friday morning around 1:20 a.m.

That's where deputies said Wanda Lea Foster, 67, had called 911 to report that she had been tied up and robbed.

When deputies arrived they found the owner of the home, John Bach, 69, tied up and unconscious in a bedroom.

Officials said Bach was bound in a way that restricted his air flow and he was unable to move. He was taken to a Salem hospital and treated for his injures.

At the same time, Salem Police found Bach's pickup had been involved in a hit and run crash in downtown Salem.

Police in Salem reported the pickup had been abandoned near the crash.

As deputies continued to investigate the home invasion, they discovered that Foster rented a room at Bach's home.

They said it was Foster who had let the suspects into the home and assaulted Bach.

Investigators say the suspects tied up Bach, stealing his wallet, household items and the truck they escaped in.

On Friday afternoon, sheriff's deputies said two suspects turned themselves in at the substation in Mill City.

Wanda Foster's son, Jonathan James Foster, 31, was charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, robbery, theft, burglary and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Justina Jean Chilcote, 24, of Mill City, was charged with the same crimes.

Deputies are still trying to track down David James Gonzales Jr, of Mill City, who is described as 6'2" and 220 pounds. He has red hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information regarding this case or the whereabouts of Gonzales is asked to contact Detective Beth Miller at 541-967-3960
