PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Vandals are targeting tires in several Portland neighborhoods.

Since May 2013, the Portland Police Bureau has received more than 300 reports of car vandalism in Northeast and Southeast Portland. Those reports are mainly coming from the Alameda, Irvington, Rose City, Grand Park, Laurelhurst, Richmond, Sunnyside and Kerns neighborhoods, police said.

Vandals are targeting SUVs, trucks and vans parked on the street, it said. The vandalism is happening overnight every day of the week. Many people have been targeted multiple times. The cost estimate of the damage ranges from $60,000 to $120,000.

Police are asking the public to report any suspicious activity they see in those neighborhoods. Crime Stoppers is also offering a $1,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest.
