WILSONVILLE, OR (KPTV) -

Police believe the man who robbed a Wilsonville motel is also responsible for two bank robberies in Washington.

The Super 8 motel at 25438 S.W. Parkway was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night. Police said the suspect held up the clerk and drove away with cash.

Investigators believe the same man robbed a bank in King County Aug. 30 and a bank in Tacoma Sept. 4.

The suspect was seen leaving the King County robbery in a 1985 or newer Toyota Corolla-style vehicle, gold in color, with unknown Oregon "tree" plates.

The suspect is described as a white man between 35 and 40 years old with short dark hair. During the Wilsonville robbery, he was wearing light-colored blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a distinctive dark T-shirt with a large eagle design on the front from shoulder to shoulder.

He has a large tattoo on his forearm, as well.

Local detectives are working with King County and Tacoma authorities in an attempt to identify the suspect.

If you recognize him or know anything about these cases, call the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office confidential tip line at 503-723-4949 or online at www.clackamas.us/sheriff/forms/tip.html.
