Dramatic evidence presented in court Friday that's related to a bail hearing for four men accused of murder.

The four men are facing charges related to the murder of Charles Weber, 25, who was found killed at his Southwest Dolph home on March 9.

At Friday's hearing, the prosecution presented evidence in the case, but the dramatic details came from a Portland police detective, who took the stand, and described in gruesome detail how Weber was killed.

Prosecutors played one of the 911 calls made by a neighbor who found Weber, bleeding in his apartment.

"He's bleeding from the head, (inaudible) there's basically blood everywhere," said the caller to the 911 operator.

The prosecution said the four men; Omar Ibrahim, Mahmoud Moustafa, Hussein Ali -Haidar, and Clifton Carey, went to Weber's house on March 9 looking to steal drugs and money, but they contend it ended in murder when a machete was used to kill Weber.

"Mr. Carey then took the machete from Mr. Haidar, and Mr. Carey struck Mr. Weber numerous times to the back of the head," said Kristina Coffey, a homicide detective with the Portland Police Bureau.

During a portion of the 911 call, you can hear the neighbor asking Weber if he knew who was responsible, all the while in the background, you can hear Weber crying out for help.

As that call played out, Omar Ibrahim became emotional listening to it and at one point even tried to plug his ears.

That night, Weber's friend was also in the apartment, but he was not hurt. Detective Coffey described what that witness heard before Weber was murdered.

"He heard Weber say he had a daughter and did not want to be killed. He then heard Mr. Haider say we have to kill this guy and hand me the machete Moody," said Coffey.

The detective on the stand went into chilling detail, as she described the scene at Weber's home after they found the body.

"There was blood on nearly every surface in the living room. There was also blood in the bedroom. There was blood splatter, on the ceilings, the walls and the front door," said Coffey.

There's a fifth person arrested for this crime. Ahmad Al Kalali, is accused of hindering prosecution and tampering with physical evidence.

Friday's bail hearing was supposed to continue in the afternoon, but was postponed because the defense attorneys said they need more time to prepare.
