VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

Two of FOX 12's Most Wanted are on the run after a home invasion robbery in Vancouver.

At 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, an elderly woman living in the 5700 block of Montana Lane heard her doorbell ring several times.

When she went to answer the door, she discovered two men had broken into her home, police said.

They told the woman they would not hurt her if she went into a closet and stayed quiet, police said.

The victim waited until she heard them leave and called 911.

She was not hurt.

The Vancouver Police Major Crimes Unit is investigating.

No suspect information is available and no vehicle was seen, investigators told fox 12.

Anyone with information on the possible identity of the men is asked to call the Vancouver Police Department Tip Line at 360-487-7399 (referencing case #V13-14709).

According to investigators, the victim received a phone call on Tuesday from someone claiming to represent an alarm company.

That person asked her if she had an alarm, police said.

Anyone who may have received a similar call is asked to contact the Vancouver Police Tip Line and provide any information available (phone number of the caller, etc.) that may assist with this investigation.

No other similar robberies have been reported, police said.

Vancouver police remind citizens not to provide any personal information over the telephone and to document any pertinent information such as caller ID or details if they believe the caller may not be a legitimate representative of a company.
