PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Mr. Dealers Double Up Cafe, a sports bar in Southeast Portland, was robbed at gunpoint. Now police are hoping potential witnesses will help them identify a suspect.

It happened just before 9:30 Thursday evening at the bar located at SE 123rd and Powell.

Employees told police that an unknown man entered the bar, demanded money, then fired several shots inside the bar but did not hit anyone.

The gunman left with an undisclosed amount of money.

"This is a very very serious problem right now, these guys have no value of life," said bar owner Larry Olsen.

Olsen tells FOX 12 he's been robbed five times, but this robbery was by far the most violent.

"I think its terrible,  we need to protect our employees and do everything we can to give them the tools they need to where this doesn't happen."

"My bartender, he was really shook up.  He hasn't had a drink in 11 years, but last night he had a shot."

Officers and K-9 units searched the area, but did not locate any suspects.

The person of interest is described as an man of unknown race wearing all dark clothing.

"It's very tough, we're all out here trying to make money to support  the people who support us, and then this happens," said Olsen.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Robbery Detectives at (503) 823-0405.
