WOODBURN, OR (KPTV) -

A man accused of shooting and killing a man in Woodburn in 2012 has pleaded guilty to murder.

Daniel Nepomuceno, 22, was one of two men arrested after Michael McGovern, 28, was shot and killed on Sept. 18, 2012.

Nepomuceno pleaded guilty to charges of murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm on Oct. 4. A sentencing date has not yet been set.

As part of his plea deal, additional charges of unlawful use of a weapon were dropped.

The second suspect, Mark Anthony Camarena, 22, is still charged with murder and scheduled to face trial in December.

McGovern was shot near the intersection of Gatch and Hardcastle in Woodburn. He died at the hospital. The medical examiner's office determined he died from a single gunshot wound.
