Woman robbed in ruse for a ride

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A good-hearted citizen who agreed to give another woman a ride wound up with her purse being stolen at knife point instead.

According to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, the victim was approached by a female suspect a few minutes before 11 p.m. Friday, in the parking lot of the Fred Meyer store located at 16301 Southeast 82nd Drive.

After the victim agreed, and the female suspect got into the victim's vehicle, another suspect, a man, jumped into the car, pulled out a knife, and demanded the victim's purse.

The two suspects were then picked up by another vehicle, a green sedan, which took off southbound on Southeast 82nd Drive.

The female suspect is described as white with blondish hair, about 25 years old, 5'5" tall, and weighing 125-130 pounds. She was wearing blue jeans and a gray jacket.

The second suspect is described as a white male adult with a dark hooded jacket and jeans. He is about  5'10" tall and has a skinny build.
