PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Police said a man and a woman were detained in Kelso and questioned in connection to the shooting death of a woman at Blue Lake Park.

The body of Tiffany Jenks, 35, was found Oct. 8 at the Fairview Park at about 7:30 a.m. A neighbor reported hearing a gunshot at 2:15 a.m.

Her death was ruled a homicide, but few details were released about the investigation.

On Tuesday, police in Fairview and Kelso said two people were detained late last week. Citing the active and ongoing investigation, officers only confirmed basic information about the case.

Investigators said a search warrant was served at a Motel 6 in Kelso, where the two people were staying. However, they were eventually released from custody without being charged in the case. A third person is wanted in connection to the investigation, police said.

Police also said Jenks was at the Mystic Strip Club in southeast Portland just hours before her body was found. Investigators said surveillance video was taken from the club.

FOX 12 also obtained video of Jenks, talking about spirituality from a few years ago with her addiction recovery group.

Her sister told FOX 12 Jenks struggled with the death of her father a few years ago and it was "really, really hard on her." She quit her job at the Bonneville Power Administration after that and had struggles with drugs and alcohol.

Jennifer Jenks added that the last time she talked to her sister, "She sounded really good. She sounded really happy and she sounded positive about her future."
