Caught on Camera: Pair passing forged checks at Fred Meyer

CLACKAMAS COUNTY, OR (KPTV) -

Two people caught on camera have passed more than $500 worth of stolen and forged checks in Clackamas County.

A man made a purchase of $210.93 at the Oak Grove Fred Meyer on Sept. 30 with a check using the name Benjamin Palacios. Three minutes later in the same store, a separate transaction was made for $211.83 by a woman using a check under the name Emily Palacios.

The male suspect used another stolen check with the same forged name on Oct. 2 at Sportsman's Warehouse in Clackamas. The total of that purchase was $106.53.
