A $1,000 reward is being offered to track down the man who has robbed at least two Oregon banks.
On Sept. 5, a man in a hooded jacket and mirrored sunglasses entered the Bank of the West branch in Tualatin and demanded money. Witnesses said he was carrying an item that gave the impression he had a weapon.
On Oct. 8, a man wearing the same hooded jacket and matching the description of the Tualatin crime scene robbed a U.S. Bank in Springfield.
The FBI said he appeared to be holding a long gun wrapped in a blanket during the second robbery. He demanded cash from a teller, received the money and then took off.
The suspect is described as a man between the age of 35 and 50 years old. He is between 5'10 and 6' tall and around 210 pounds. His plaid jacket is green and white in color with a gray hood.
The Oregon Financial Institution Security Task Force is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the suspect.
If you recognize him or have any details about the investigation, contact one of the agencies involved in the investigation.
