Sexual assault suspect sketch: Marion County Sheriff's Office
JEFFERSON, OR (KPTV) -
Marion County deputies have released a sketch to try and track down the man who knocked on a woman's door and then sexually assaulted her.
It happened at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 27 on Elm Street in Jefferson. The victim, an adult woman, said the man knocked on her door and asked for directions.
Deputies said he then forced his way into the home and sexually assaulted her.
The victim worked with a sketch artist Thursday to create a composite sketch of the suspect.
He is described as a white man, around 30 years old, 5'11" with a medium build. He had dark hair that was short overall, but longer in the back. The man's eyes are green and he appeared unshaven with multiple days beard growth.
The suspect had a tattoo on the inside of his left wrist described as looking like either "HHH" or "III." He also had another tattoo of a devil's head on his right bicep. He was wearing blue and white "boat" shoes, dirty black denim jeans, a dirty white T-shirt with small burn holes, a dark-colored jacket and a dark blue hat.
He also smelled of cigarettes, the victim said.
A car associated with the suspect is a light blue Honda, according to deputies, and possibly an Accord.
Deputies said they believe this was a random act of violence, which is considered extremely rare in sexual assault cases.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Marion County Sheriff's Office Tip Line, 503-540-8079. Refer to Case #13-17928, and you can remain anonymous.
