A man who failed to register as a sex offender was arrested as part of an investigation into methamphetamine dealing near the Oregon coast.

The Lincoln Interagency Narcotics Team served a search warrant at 846 Wade Rd. near Siletz Thursday after receiving complaints about drugs being sold from the home.

Investigators said they found evidence related to the possession and delivery of meth, as well as a separate theft investigation by Newport police.

One of the people in the home, Trevor Cole, 29, was arrested for felony failure to register as a sex offender.

A 32-year-old woman in the home is not facing charges at this time. The investigation is continuing.

An Oregon State Police K-9 and a number of agencies assisted with the investigation.
