OREGON CITY, OR (KPTV) -

A celebration of life for fallen Oregon City reserve police Officer Robert Libke will be held Thursday, Nov. 14 at Memorial Coliseum in Portland.

The service will start at 1 p.m.

Parking, procession and seating information will be released in the coming week.

Libke was shot Sunday by Lawrence Cambra, 88, outside a burning Oregon City home.

A massive police response followed. Cambra died from a gunshot wound to the chest, and it was ruled a suicide by the medical examiner's office.

Libke had been with the department since 2009. He was the first Oregon City police officer shot in the line of duty in more than 100 years.

"Rob loved putting on the uniform and helping the police department serve the community," said a family statement released Wednesday.
