PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
One man is dead and two others were was taken to the hospital overnight after shots were fired during a riot that took place in front of a nightclub in northeast Portland.
At 12:45 a.m. officers responded to a report of a large fight outside of the Fontaine Bleau nightclub, at 237 Northeast Broadway.
They arrived to find what they said was a "hostile" crowd, of up to 100 people. Officers called for a citywide "code three" response, which means all available officers were to respond to the scene using lights and sirens.
Upon their arrival, people in the crowd scattered, and a man was found shot. Soon, two more shooting victims--a man and a woman—were found.

The woman, age 50, and the other man, age 44, were transported to a local hospital for treatment with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say an autopsy for the deceased will take place Sunday, after which time all the names will be released.
Northeast Broadway was closed until about 12:30 p.m. Saturday as investigators processed the large crime scene.
Police are asking witnesses who fled the scene without talking to police are asked to call the non-emergency line at (503) 823-3333.
