VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

A man claiming to have a bomb strapped to his chest is caught on camera robbing a glass pipe shop in Vancouver.

Police believe the same suspect pulled off a similar robbery at a second Mary Jane's House of Glass location earlier in the month.

The most recent robbery happened Monday night at 8300 E. Mill Plain Blvd. The man entered the Mary Jane's store wearing a blue jacket and what appeared to be a surgical mask.

He handed the cashier a note, unzipped his jacket to reveal what he claimed was a bomb. He also had a cell phone up to his ear the whole time.

Police believe the same man claimed to have a bomb when he robbed the Mary Jane's location at 212 NE 164th Ave. the night of Nov. 1.

In that case, surveillance video shows a man in a hooded sweatshirt with a surgical mask handing the clerk a note while claiming to have a bomb.

Police have not confirmed if the suspect had an actual explosive device.

He is described as a white man in his 20s with a small build and long blond hair.
