An 18-year-old former Milwaukie High School student is accused of sexually abusing at least four classmates.

Milwaukie police arrested London Walter on Nov. 8. He is in the Clackamas County Jail facing multiple counts of rape, sodomy and sex abuse.

Milwaukie High School sent a letter home to parents Thursday addressing the situation.

The letter states the alleged abuse occurred between September and December 2012 when Walter was a student at the school.

When the first police report was made in February, Walter had already left Milwaukie High School and registered at the New Urban High School Twilight Program. That is an alternative evening program where students can work online from home.

"He rarely attended school there last year and has not attended there this year," the letter states.

Administrators state they have cooperated fully with the investigation.

"We were asked by Milwaukie Police to keep this matter confidential during the investigation leading to the arrest," the letter to parents states.

Milwaukie police said the initial victim is a 16-year-old girl who attends Milwaukie High School. She reported that Walter sexually assaulted her. During the investigation, police said they identified three additional student victims, all under the age of 18.

Walter spoke to FOX 12 on Friday night from the Clackamas County Jail.

He denied the allegations being made against him and said any sexual contact he had with the alleged victims was consensual.

Walter said he was once in relationships with two of the four teens who are now accusing him of sexual abuse. He said at times, the relationships did get intimate.

"I had one relationship with a girl. And another relationship with a girl while underage. And then they charged me after I turned 18," Walter said."I'm a really nice guy who treats people really respectfully. And I am really kind."

Walter said he dropped out of school because he was being treated poorly by his fellow students.

On his Facebook page last month, Walter alluded to allegations being made against him about rape. "I did not rape anyone," Walter's Facebook page stated in a post dated October 25th.

Walter said he's been through foster care and now worries about not being able to see his mother because he's in jail. He said she is ill.

He told FOX 12 he would never treat any woman or girl with disrespect.

"Now I'm being treated like a monster all because the justice system looks at me like that," Walter said.

The juvenile victims have requested to remain anonymous.

Investigators said Walter is a transient who has frequented the areas of Portland, Milwaukie, Beaverton, Tualatin and the Clackamas Town Center.

Police are concerned there might be additional victims. If you have any information about this suspect or this investigation, call Milwaukie police at 503-786-7500.

Milwaukie High School administrators asked parents, as appropriate, to discuss the issue with their children. Counseling is also available to students at the Milwaukie High Health and Wellness Center.

Walter's bail is set at $250,000.
