Mt. Hood, OR (KPTV) -
A verdict has been reached in a lawsuit against Mt. Hood Skibowl regarding the death of a snowboarder.

A jury has sided with the resort in the $500,000 lawsuit.

The family of Taylur DeWolf filed the wrongful death suit against Skibowl after the 17-year-old was killed while snowboarding down an intermediate area of the resort.

DeWolf's family says that part of the run included expert level difficulty and should have been marked accordingly.

Today the jury decided that the run conditions did not contribute to DeWolf's death, clearing Skibowl of responsibility.
