GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -

Around 1:15 a.m. Sunday, a fight erupted and shots were fired outside of a bar in Gresham.

Gresham Police said they responded to the scene at Puff's Pub at 222nd Avenue and Stark and found the victim a short time later.

Investigators learned that 31-year-old Craig Arnold got into a fight with someone he didn't know outside of the bar. A few moments later a black sedan drove past him.

A number of shots were fired from the open window of the sedan, one of which struck Arnold in the shoulder. The sedan then took off.

Arnold was loaded into an ambulance and taken to the hospital with what police considered a non-life-threatening injury.

The shooting did not appear to be gang related.

Anyone with information about the incident is being asked to contact Gresham Police.
