A symbol of the season was stolen from the front porch of a Vancouver home.
A 6-foot-tall nutcracker was taken between Wednesday night and Thursday morning on the 6000 block of Northwest Thunderbird Avenue.
The people living in the home told Fox 12 they woke up and it was gone. They don't believe it was a crime of impulse, because the sizable statue weighs around 75 pounds and would have required some planning to haul it away.
The victims said the thieves were pretty brazen, as the nutcracker figure stood in front of a large glass window.
Vancouver police said they've checked with local pawn shops about the item, but, so far, there are no leads in the case.
If you know anything about it, call Vancouver police at 360-487-7490.
