Police want to know what caused car to hit a woman Tuesday night in Southwest Portland.
The crash happened around 8:10 p.m. on SW Terwilliger Boulevard at Lobelia Street.
Police said a car hit a 31-year-old woman who suffered traumatic injuries.
The driver, a 64-year-old woman, stayed at the scene of the crash police said.
She was not impaired by drugs or alcohol, according to investigators.
Traffic investigators, not the major crash team, are working to figure out what caused the crash.
There was no word on the condition of the woman the driver hit as of Wednesday morning.
