He's been missing for nearly a month, and still investigators say they have found no sign of Adrien Chase anywhere.
The Oregon City man disappeared after saying goodnight to his family on his 35th birthday. He was never heard from again.
At first, the family thought Chase might have gone out for walk in Atkinson Park, like he so often does when he can't sleep, to look at the stars.
But, investigators have since ruled that out, after they searched the park and found no evidence that he was here.
Chase left his cell phone, keys, backpack and wallet at his Oregon City home, stuff, his family says, he'd need if he was planning to leave.
"Nobody has heard anything from him," said sister Dhyana Kuhl, who flew in from Nicaragua to join in on the search for Chase.
"His bank accounts are still untouched. His cell phones haven't been used. Every way you can track a person, there's just no sign of him."
Chase suffers from bipolar disorder, but his family says he was taking his medicine, and seemed to be happy.
Oregon City police have checked out railroad tracks and several cliff side locations across town.
His family has plastered fliers all over area parks, churches, homeless camps and homeless shelters. They say they've done so every day since he disappeared.
"We will never stop looking for him. It will be now until whenever we find something. And if that means in many, many years from now, I'm still hearing the dog bark and still hearing the phone ring, and still waiting for that phone call. I'll still be waiting for that phone call," said Kuhl.
Kuhl says it's been an agonizing month, not knowing where Chase might be. And yet the family continues to cling to hope that he will one day be found.
"Nothing will ever be as it should again, until I can know where he is," said Kuhl.
"I just want people to know, if they know something about what happened to him, and they are withholding information, they can tell us, and we won't be mad. We just want Adrien to come back and we want to know where he is."
Oregon City police say they are still actively looking for Chase, and he is considered a missing and endangered person.
If you know anything about where he might be, or have information on what may have happened to him, investigators ask that you call them.
