NEW YORK, Jan. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- On Monday, January 27, 2014, famed wrestler Jake 'The Snake' Roberts was inducted into WWE's Hall of Fame Class of 2014. This honor is particularly remarkable considering Roberts's highly publicized, long-term battle with substance abuse, which might have led him to a tragic end.

Just one year ago at age 58, Jake was in poor physical shape - 100 lbs overweight, immobilized from joint injuries and suffering from COPD.   That's when his friend and fellow wrestling veteran Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) stepped in to help.
