Police: Suspect pulls gun on jogger in McMinnville

MCMINNVILLE, OR (KPTV) -

A man jogging early Friday morning in McMinnville told police a car pulled up alongside him, someone got out and pulled a gun on him.

Police said it happened at 3:40 a.m. near 18th and Michelbook Lane.

The 18-year-old jogger said he was confronted by three male suspects who pulled up in a yellow or light-colored Cadillac.

One of the people in the car got out and displayed a chrome handgun. The jogger told police the suspect demanded either money or that the jogger get in the car.

Police said the jogger was able to fight off the suspect and ran home.

The suspect with the gun is described as 5'9" to 5'10" and 135 to 150 pounds. He was wearing a red T-shirt, baggy pants and a dark beanie-style hat.

He likely sustained injuries to his right arm and the left side of his face, according to officers.

The Cadillac involved in this case had a dent on the back bumper.
