A man arrested in a murder case who pleaded guilty to manslaughter will spend 18 years behind bars.

Mark Camarena pleaded guilty in October 2013. He was sentenced Friday.

Previously, Daniel Nepomuceno pleaded guilty to charges of murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm for the shooting that killed 28-year-old Michael McGovern in Woodburn in September 2012.

Nepomuceno was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 25 years.

McGovern was shot near the intersection of Gatch and Hardcastle in Woodburn. He died at the hospital. The medical examiner's office determined he died from a single gunshot wound.

Both suspects originally faced murder charges.

Camarena was also sentenced to two years post-prison supervision Friday once he's released.
