Suspected Mesa shoplifter swipes 11 Xbox controllers

MESA, AZ (CBS5) -

A man suspected of shoplifting at a Mesa Walmart Monday stole 11 Xbox One controllers, police said.

Officers hope by releasing surveillance images of the suspect, it will help lead to his identity and whereabouts. 

The suspect entered a Walmart store at 1606 W. Signal Butte Rd. at about 5:40 a.m. on Monday.

The Xbox One controllers that the man allegedly stole are worth more than $600.

Police said they don't have much of a description of the suspect except that he's in his late teens to early 20s.

The vehicle the suspect used to escape was an older model, gray, four-door passenger car. The license plate is not known.
