PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland police have identified a man accused of stealing from workers at two local hospitals, and now they're asking for the public's help tracking him down.

Eman Lutfi, 55, was identified as the suspect through a tip to Crime Stoppers of Oregon.

He's accused of walking into a volunteer break room at Shriners Hospital for Children in Portland and stealing a woman's purse. The purse contained cash, credit cards and an iPad.

Police said it happened May 14, 2013. Surveillance cameras captured video of the suspect at the hospital.

Administrators at Shriners learned that a similar incident occurred that same day at Oregon Health & Science University. In that case, a backpack was stolen from an OHSU employee's office.

Lutfi is 5'10" and 170 pounds with tan or olive-colored skin. He has a shaved or bald head and a tattoo of "Scotland" on his left arm.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. You can leave a tip online at www.crimestoppersoforegon.com or call 503-823-HELP.
