100 people have not claimed $100 prizes from 2013 Raffle

SALEM, OR (KPTV) -

A hundred people purchased winning Oregon Lottery St. Patrick's Day Raffle tickets in 2013, but never claimed the prize.

The Oregon Lottery said those 100 winning $100 tickets are set to expire on March 13, one year from the date the winning numbers were announced.

In addition to those unclaimed prizes, lottery officials said even more prize money is still out there from the 2013 Halloween Raffle.

In that drawing, there are $55,800 in unclaimed prizes. Those winners have until Oct. 31 to claim their prizes.

The 2012 Thanksgiving Raffle had the largest amount of unclaimed Raffle prizes ever at $46,800. That included two winning tickets worth $20,000 that were never claimed.

Since the Lottery began offering Raffle games in 2009, nearly $180,000 in Raffle prizes have gone unclaimed.

Unclaimed money for all lottery games are added to the funding for Oregon public schools, state parks and natural resources, according to the Oregon Lottery.
