Ryan Hutchinson's hand, he suffers from Cerebral Palsy
KENT, OH (WOIO) -
It's heartwarming story of how some college students helped a man stranded in the snow.
He is disabled and couldn't get out of his home, and past the huge piles of snow.
There's still a lot of snow in Ryan Hutchinson's yard but his driveway and walkway's are noticeably clear all because of a 22-year old Kent State student who didn't know Ryan from Adam..came in, and cleared out the snow and then into our hearts with what he did.
46 year old Ryan Hutchinson -- his left hand lame but the right hand really talented in ways most of us never will be.
Cerebral Palsy makes it hard to do a lot of things..."I was born like that," said Ryan Hutchinson.
All his life he's adapted.
"I can do it a different way," said Ryan Hutchinson.
But when it comes to shoveling snow it's sure nice when someone's got his back.
Today Kent State Student service leader Rob Lierenz answered the call....
"Encourage people to pay it forward this is what makes the world a better place," Rob Lierenz said.
"I really appreciate it. Thank you," added Ryan Hutchinson.
Ryan, really a man of few words -- but hand him a karaoke mike...
"We know how to work and we know how to play. We're from the country and we like it that way," sang Mr. Hutchinson. "That's where I'm from and I'm proud to say, I'm from the country and I like it that way!"
All of Ryan's life, know what's as hard as shoveling snow with Cerebral Palsy?
