Gresham police arrested a fourth suspect in a kidnapping case.

Officers arrested Christopher Andrews, 25, Tuesday night at 162nd and SE Main after a traffic stop.

Police say Andrews, and three others, held a man captive in a Gresham apartment at Cansler Village off Burnside and 193rd.

Whitney Engstrom, Christopher Torientino and Ashley Adams were all previously arrested on charges including robbery and kidnapping.

A SWAT team was able to free the victim on Feb. 14.

Police identified the victim as 34-year-old Michael Daugherty, of Portland, who is developmentally disabled.

Police say the suspects held him for two days while accessing his bank account.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and that more arrests are still possible.
